American artist Steven Ray Miller designed this cow with a specific philosophy in mind. “I incorporate hearts into my paintings to invite the viewer to look closely,” he explains. “Hearts help us share the feelings of love and hope that connect us all.”
This beautiful message did not go unnoticed. The original Heartstanding Cow was sold at auction for no less than $5,500. The entire proceeds were donated to the NC Children's Hospital.
